Description

Once an Assassin throws it to the ground, this trap expels a large spout of fire at any opponent who moves within its range.

Wake of Inferno has pathing issues so that it cannot hit moving targets. Because of this, it is only good versus single targets that can be kept stationary. Because of this issue, it is common for even fire trap specialists to forgoe this skill. The damage when synergized, however, can be comprable to lightning sentry. A high level and synergized Lightning Sentry may be 1-11k while Wake of inferno will be 4.6-5k. The average damage of either is similar, though there are more fire immunes than lightning immunes in Hell mode.
