Respec Feature[edit | edit source]
While the text used for this new feature was the same as was used for the Pandemonium Event for Patch 1.11, the actual feature was new. By collecting four items from varius bosses in Hell difficulty, players could earn a Token of Absolution, which grants a respec of the character that uses it. The feature is only available on Battle.net and can be repeated however many times the player wants, but each time the Token is consumed and the ingredients must be found again. The four items need are:
- Twisted Essence of Suffering (dropped by Andariel and Duriel)
- Charged Essence of Hatred (dropped by Mephisto)
- Burning Essence of Terror (dropped by Diablo)
- Festering Essence of Destruction (dropped by Baal).
In addition to this extra respec, players are now also granted a free respec whenever they complete the Den of Evil quest.
