The Mausoleum is a building that can be found in the Burial Grounds, along with the Crypt. It is completely optional but it is worth checking out for both items and experience for low-level characters.

The Mausoleum is largely identical to the Crypt: they are of equal size, contain the same monster, have the same Area Level and both contain a Golden Chest. The one difference is that the Mausoleum contains no Super Unique guarding the chest. Instead, a regular unique monster guards it.
