Inferno (Diablo I)
Inferno creates a jet of flame in front of the player, damaging any monster caught in it. It provides less than impressive damage, and also requires the caster to get in close range with monsters, increasing the risk of death.

Inferno is not a single strike projective spell, but instead attempts to hit enemies every 0.05 seconds in a straight line. This happens at three places in the fire: near, middle and far away from the caster, and happens 20, 25 and 30 times in each place respectively.
