The Halls of Pain is connected to the Halls of Anguish and leads to the Halls of Vaught, the last level of the temple. There are 3 preset maps that the Halls of Pain can spawn as. Learning the quickest path from the waypoint to the stairs leading to the Halls of Vaught for each map will greatly increase the efficiency with which you can farm keys from Nihlathak.

The waypoint works in an interesting way on this level. Once it is activated, the red portal in Harrogath which leads to Nihlathak's Temple is permanently closed. Doing this, quick access to Pindleskin is no longer possible. If however the waypoint is not activated, the red portal will remain open indefinitely, even between games.
