The Great Marsh is the second jungle area in Act III and it is the only overworld area that is entirely optional. All other overworld areas must always be travesed by the player (excepting rushes), but the Great Marsh is sometimes spawned as an optional area. In those cases, the Spider Forest will lead directly to the Flayer Jungle as well.
