The Enchantress is an atypical build for the Sorceress because it is melee-oriented. This is a powerful but expensive build. The stat point distribution listed assumes that your character level is at 99 and that you have obtained perfect versions of the gear listed. Make sure to adjust your stat point distribution according to the gear you were able to obtain. For example, pay attention to items listed as ethereal, or items that provide attribute points. This counts for your Mercenary as well.

Overview[edit | edit source]

This particular Enchantress build plays out a lot like an Auradin, but stronger. Enchant, Warmth, and Fire Mastery are maxed out to for higher Enchant fire damage. Dream runewords are used for both the helm and the shield, having the Holy Shocks stack and become level 30. Holy Shock paired with Lighting Mastery makes for a lot of damage. Melee damage can get above 70 thousand of fire and lightning damage. Holy Shock pulse damage should be around 3 thousand. Telekinesis is also maxed for Energy Shield. All resists are maxed in Hell difficulty. On weapon switch the Enchantress will have a Beast runeword equipped, allowing her to use Werebear. The important bonuses from this are both the health bonus and that the maximum attacks per second increases from 2.5 to 6.2. The mercenary plays a big role as well. With an Infinity equipped, it receives a passive Conviction aura that lowers enemy resistances. The mercenary will also have Holy Freeze to slow down enemies. It is possible to Enchant your mercenary as well.

Inventory[edit | edit source]

Annihilus small charm and Hellfire Torch large charm of course. Then 9 lightning skill grand charms, preferably with life mods. Fill up the rest of the space with life small charms. Good life/mana small charms are expensive, get them if you can.


Mercenary[edit | edit source]

Make sure to hire an Act 2 Nightmare Defense mercenary, for the Holy Freeze aura. Also remember to socket ethereal items for your mercenary, as their items do not lose durability.
