These serpentine demons are Belial's favored servants, and he has granted them some of his skill in cunning and illusion. Deceivers will cloak themselves in the familiar forms of their enemy's companions and friends, waiting to strike when the moment is opportune. It is only then that their true forms are revealed.
Deceiver Magus are the spell caster version of Deceiver Demons. They drop the ability to cloak in exchange for Static Field that does continuous area damage to any party member inside it. As they lack the Cloaking ability, they are considerably less concern than normal Deceivers. Removing all party members from inside the area of their Static Field or by interrupting the channel forces them to stop channeling and resort to a weak melee attack with their hands.

- Channels a field of electricity around self that does continuous moderate damage. Stops channeling if no party member is being damaged by it. Channel can be interrupted. Has a cooldown of a few seconds during which only a weak melee attack can be used.
