Battle Orders is a necessity for every Barbarian build, mostly due to the huge bonus that it provides to Life. Most, if not all, Barbarian builds will recommend maxing this skill as soon as possible. The increases to Mana and Stamina are not generally as beneficial to the Barbarian, though they can be quite useful to other classes, making Battle Orders an incredibly popular party utility skill as well. Like other Warcries, Battle Orders does not stack, so a group with multiple Barbarians (or players using the Call to Arms Runeword) should let the player with the highest skill level cast this buff.
Although skillful in single combat, the Barbarian warrior also has a talent for group tactics. It is this ability that makes him a natural leader in combat. An experienced warrior can use this skill to better array his forces in battle, enhancing their ability to overcome the enemy.
