Journal

Journals, or diaries, can be found in various objects throughout the world or by completing certain quests. They provide a short audio narration and an entry in the journal log. These can describe a past event or situation that took place in the area, as recounted from the author's perspective. In Act I for example, journals can be found in containers called Old Keepsake Box. Journals each provide bonus experience when found.

Journals are items marked with green font name when on the ground, thus differentiating them from other items. They begin playing automatically after being picked up, however the player also has the possibility to replay and read again each entry previously obtained. This can be done in the Lore Interface, which also contains a Bestiary - a section devoted to lore of the monsters defeated during the player's journey.

Below is a list of all Journal entries. The entries are displayed in chronological order of appearance. Note that the spawn locations of some of the lore entries are random, and therefore you might -- and most likely will not -- find all of them in one play through. Other entries, such as Leah's Journal, are strictly related to the current quest the player is on since each part of the journal spawns from the same container.
