Jar of Souls is an event quest in Act I. It has a chance to appear in one of the false Defiled Crypts located in the Cemetery of the Forsaken. Players must engage in a "King of the Hill" type encounter with Skeletons and Skeletal Executioners for 1 minute.

The low XP reward for this quest is compensated by the fact that the spawned mobs give XP when killed.

Walkthrough

• Activate the Jar of Souls.

	It's a trap!
	Of all the infernal traps to spring...
	A trap.
	Spirits are bound within this trap. I spring it gladly.
	I don't believe it - a trap!

• Survive the skeletons raised by the Jar of Souls.
• Stay alive until the timer runs out. Kill the monsters that spawn.

	I must hold out until the magic is exhausted...
	I've survived worse than this. Just a little longer...
	This magic will not break me. Only a little longer...
	Most of these tortured spirits are free. I am nearly done.
	This magic is nothing. I need to hold out a little longer...
