Potions of Diablo II

Potions can be used in a variety of ways. Some can be used to regenerate a character's status meters, such as the Mana Potion, Healing Potion, Rejuvenation Potion or Stamina Potion. Others can be used to return a character to a stable condition, such as the Antidote Potion, which cures a poisoned character, or the Thawing Potion, which thaws out a frozen character.

Diablo II Potions[]

Healing Potions[]

Healing potions replenish a character's life over time. It is smart to avoid battle while a healing potion is taking effect thus allowing the potion to heal fully. These potions may be purchased from town vendors.

Depending on one's character class, a healing potion will replenish different set amounts of health. Healing potions come in different sizes, some more effective than others. The chart below lists the set amounts of health that each class receives when using a specific healing potion.

Mana Potions[]

Mana potions replenish a character's mana over time. These potions regenerate mana faster than healing potions regenerate life. These potions may be purchased from town vendors.

Depending on one's character class, a mana potion will replenish different set amounts of mana. Mana potions also come in different sizes, some more effective than others. The chart below lists the set amounts of mana that each class receives when using a specific mana potion.

Rejuvenation Potions[]

Unlike Healing Potions and Mana Potions, a Rejuvenation Potion works instantly. They can only be obtained by killing monsters and thus may not be purchased from town vendors. They can, however, be created in the Horadric Cube. Rejuvenation Potions can be created by transmuting three Health and three Mana Potions (of any quality) along with a chipped Gem. Full Rejuvenation Potions can also be created by transmuting three Health and Mana Potions (of any quality) along with a normal quality Gem or three Rejuvenation Potions. Because they are somewhat rare, these potions are very useful for desperate situations and can be all the difference in saving a character's life.

Rejuv Rejuvenation Potion - Instantly regenerates 35% of a character's life and mana
Fullrejuv Full Rejuvenation Potion - Instantly regenerates 100% of a character's life and mana

Other Potions[]

Throughout one's journey, it will become of great help to use the other potions available in the game. These potions help in multiple ways and can be purchased from town vendors.

Antidote Antidote Potion - Instantly cures poison and gives +50 to poison resistance and +10 to maximum resistance for 30 seconds
Thawing Thawing Potion - Instantly thaws a frozen character and gives +50 to cold resistance and +10 to maximum resistance for 30 seconds
Stamina Stamina Potion - Instantly restores a characters stamina and gives infinite stamina for 30 seconds
